Disclaimer: this installment is for the sole purpose of entertainment both the author and the readers.
I do not intent to make money of it, so please don't sue me.
All characters unless noted otherwise are the property of J.R.R. Tolkien.

It's Tolkien's fault. Had he given us more female Elves to work on....
As it is we must deal with what we have - not that we care. :-))

Rating: R/NC-17

Summary: In the wake of Elrond's council solitary Erestor finds a new love ....and an old one returns unexpectedly.
Slight SM, lots of drama and some sex. Be warned and prepared...

Author's note: this is the result of an RPG, so not solely written by me but by Lady Phoenix as well.

Archieve: as long as we know: yes.

Feedback: YESSSSSS! It keeps us going!

Pairing: Erestor/Lindir, Erestor/OMC

Author's note: I cannot remember anything calrifying how exactly the bonding works, so I'm drifting a bit here.
If anybody out there knows anything specific, I'd be glad to get a note.

They took Lindir into the middle and walked down the halls to Elrond's office where they were greeted by 'the Eyebrow'. Erestor explained Elrond what Daer had suggested earlier which caused Elrond's eyebrows to arch even higher - if that was possible at all! Elrond thought for a while before he spoke:

"Well, I suppose at least you are both old enough to know about all implications." Elrond said only to see both warrior-elves nod solemnly. "As far as I recall there is not a single incident where the forging of a new bond did not irreversibly destroy the one that had been established earlier. And we all know well enough that such always results in the death of one who is being cut off. There is no undoing it."

"I do not wish to undo my bond with Daerdion!" Erestor sighed in defeat. If not even Elrond knew a way, how should anybody else?

"BUT:" Elrond rose his elegant index-finger, "all incidents reported have things in common. Conditions we will not have here: first, the one dying from severance did never consent. second, the one afflicted was usually not present. which implies that the forging of a new bond happened not simultaneously to the reaffirmation of that already in place."

"You mean....there is a chance?" Erestor asked exasperatedly.

"If both bonds are established at the same time, that may work. And with all present, you would be able to stop early enough if something felt wrong. You will have to make love to each other at the same time." Elrond concluded.
"You will have to consume each others' blood and then bed each other. The first two times Lindir should in any case be on a receiving end while one of you makes the... errrmmm - the lucky-elf in the middle. I don't see any other way, if there is any." Elrond nodded. "Are you all comfortable with that?"

Erestor coughed and blushed slightly "I don't think that will pose a problem." Elrond arched an eyebrow, thinking he would not want to know the details //or maybe I want?//

"Lindir, this is a grave decision." Elrond addressed the young one "I know that you and Erestor are in love with each other, I know that nothing could ever sever the bond Erestor shares with his husband. Still.... I don't see that between you and Daerdion. I am afraid for you to be caught eventually in some unhappy triangle. Have you given enough thought to this?"

"Had you asked me even a week ago if such a thing would be possible, I would have told you no in all honesty." Lindir's fingers remained twined in Erestor's, and he reached to take Daerdion's hand as well. "There may not be love between us, but there is respect. I trust him with Erestor's heart, and that means a great deal more to me than my own."

Daer smiled and lifted the slim hand to his lips. "It is the same for me, Lord Elrond. More even than that... this may not cure Lindir, but it surely will give him strength if the threefold bond indeed works. I will not see him suffer when it is in my power to help him."

"Then all is said. Since we cannot foresee the success of this endeavor I suggest that you first try this out and only then shall have a proper ceremony. Lindir is excused anyway and you, my dear foster-father, you feel ill with a Mordorian headache, maybe some slight re-lapse which leaves your husband in the sour duty of caring for two cranky elves." Elrond stood to signal the meeting had come to an end.

"Thank you." Erestor embraced his lord - something he only rarely did.

"Please, be careful! and keep in mind to halt all...errm ... all activities as soon as one of you feels unwell."

As the three turned towards the door, Elrond stopped them again, calling Daer's name. Elrond embraced Daerdion and kissed both his cheeks as would be proper for a family-member. "Let me welcome you again, Daerdion. I have to admit that your arrival seemed a foreboding of sorrow. I am now even more delighted to find that it will cause joy. My family is your family from now on."

Daerdion smiled and nodded to the younger elf. "I can imagine few things which could give me greater honor." He bowed upon drawing back and returned to his lover's sides. "Do you think you are yet strong enough for this, Lindir?" he inquired as they exited the hall. "It is no easy experience to bind your soul to another's."

"I... I know that it is not. I think that the ceremony of it will draw less strength from me than waiting longer." Lindir let his head rest on Erestor's shoulder. "Nay, I am ready as soon as the two of you are willing."

A cat-like smile appeared on Erestor's face. //if I could still dance, I would do so now...// "Then I shall finally have you, my love." he looked over at his husband "For that is the sole thing I request: that I shall have Lindir first."

"I would never have thought to have it otherwise," Daer promised without hesitation. "He is your love, and it is only right. Besides, my love, when have I ever turned down the chance to take you?"

The counselor locked the door once they had returned to his. Any disruption should be locked out from now forth. //Ai, Elbereth, help us!// He pulled Lindir into a tight embrace and growled almost "Finally..." then his lips found Lindir's in a heated kiss that was absolutely not becoming for an elf of his age who should have left carnal pleasures behind millennia ago.

Lindir melted against the assault, and he threw his arms about Erestor's neck. His mind reeled with the pleasure of it all. "'Restor," he whispered reverently as their lips parted at last only to meet again. He felt other hands gently stripping the clothing from his shoulders and knew the calloused fingers to be Daerdion's. When Daer pressed a soft kiss to his shoulder, the bard sighed and leaned back just a little to show his acceptance, to welcome the gesture.

Ai, he was so ready! Finding himself he only one still dressed, Erestor shrugged off his robe and loincloth. Before he pounced Lindir - which seemed all he could think of at the moment - the rest of logic kicked in and he moaned softly. "First things first."

Opening a chest that held his most treasured belongings Erestor pulled out the small wooden bowl and the ceremonial dagger. Once again he cut his chest and let some blood drop into the small vessel.
"Yours forever." he said, voice thick with emotion as he handed the bowl to the young bard.

Lindir took the bowl, and his hands trembled slightly. He carefully cut a line on his own pale chest and let the crimson liquid flow into the bowl. It was one of the few times in his life he'd felt truly graceless. The pain made him wince, but Lindir responded firmly, "And I am yours."

When a new weight joined them on the bed, this time Daer slipped in behind Erestor and placed a kiss on his shoulder. "Now is the proper time, love. Claim what is yours."

The taste of their blood still on his lips, Erestor leant forward. His tongue caught the last drop of blood that trickled from the tiny cut. "Lindir..." he sighed the name.
Erestor's hands made contact with the bard's waist and then slid upwards, slowly pressing the younger elf down onto the mattress. He marveled at the softness of the completely unmarred skin. How beautiful he was!

He reached for the oil that stood still on the nightstand. By the Valar, but he needed this! Soon. He coated his fingers before he handed the small phial over to Daer. "You have done this before, haven't you?" certainly Lindir had - young elves were supposed to sow their wild oats 'ere they married. Still Erestor wanted to make sure so he wouldn't hurry things where more gentleness would have been advisable.

"Aye, many times," Lindir agreed. He felt no shame or regret at the confession. He had shared his body with those to whom he felt attracted as was usual for one so young. Only Erestor had ever touched his heart.
"Please, 'Restor... I need you terribly..." After so long waiting, Lindir felt half-crazed with desperation. He glanced down and saw Daerdion's fingers disappearing into his lover's ass. "Do not make me wait!"

"There has been enough waiting, don't worry, my heart." Erestor soothed Lindir. All those years of longing and the weeks past filled with restraint would find an end in a few moments.

He purred feeling his husband's intrusion and after composing himself for a second worked the oil into the young one's body. Finding the bard's body already relaxed and waiting Erestor was not able to prolong the act any longer than absolutely necessary. After coating his aching flesh with an ample amount of the expensive oil he slowly sank into the welcoming heat of Lindir's body. "Ai, Lindir!" His fingers curled hard against the bard's hips.

Lindir groaned and spread his legs wider. Even with the impressive length spearing him, the bard knew he could never have quite enough. He murmured his lover's name and sought Erestor's mouth in a desperate kiss.

Claiming his lover's mouth as well Erestor felt in heaven when suddenly his and Lindir's teeth almost crashed. He felt Daerdion thrust into him, pressing his own length only deeper into Lindir's body. The kiss came to an abrupt end because Erestor's head flew backwards under the doubled assault on his senses.

Behind the elf, Daerdion rocked forward. He heard a soft moan from Lindir beneath and had to pause all movement to keep from cumming. The idea of being able to affect them both at once was certainly appealing. //Keep still. Let them enjoy this. After so many years I should have some damned patience.//

The body behind him stilled mercifully, yet the stimulation was positively driving Erestor insane as he now slid along his husbands length thus thrusting in and out of Lindir. "Do we.... do we need to climax at the..... same time?" Erestor managed to ask between harsh gasps.

Elrond had not mentioned such but as far as he knew it was the moment of the climax that - for a split second - united the souls involved. Then the ingested blood would lure the fea into bonding, suggesting a part of the body that hosted the fea was inside this other one. A trick. A little bit of cheating for the sake of eternal bliss.

"Aye... it seems... it seems best," Daerdion agreed, gritting his teeth. It felt too damned good. He took a few deep breaths and looked down at Lindir over his husband's shoulder. "Stroke him. This cannot last much longer."

The bard took one of Erestor's hands and guided it. "I would want to find release with you in any case. Tell me... when you are close, tell me..."

Erestor's hand closed around Lindir's flesh as if he would anchor himself. So hot, so alive as it twitched under his touch. "Ai, I was close ......... the moment...... I took you."

Between the two of his lovers he would be ready any time. He could already feel the cresting of his climax and the first tentative touches of Lindir's soul, stretching toward his. Soon it would take a firm hold on his own. At the same time he felt his bond with Daer pulsing with energy as his lover fed it with his power in order to keep it intact. //Elbereth, help us!//

"I'm ready any moment..." he gasped. Erestor found it extremely hard to form intelligible words, sentences even, to make this work.

"Now," Daerdion commanded authoritatively. He knew that Erestor would respond to the order. His lover had long been conditioned so, after all. The elf hoped- Daerdion smiled through his own climax when he saw Lindir arching beneath Erestor. //God, he's beautiful when he cums...// The idea brought forth an image of the rather pleasant eventuality of taking the bard himself. Despite the sleepy torpor that overcame him in the warmth of the afterglow, Daerdion rolled away to avoid crushing both his lovers and sighed.

The climax itself was completely overshadowed with the intense sensation of the new bond snapping into place. He could feel Lindir not only around himself, hear and feel him climax, no he felt Lindir as a part of himself. Bonded. It had been done.
The sensation was so intense that for a moment he was not able to feel Daer and panic gripped him.

"Daer? Daer! Are you alright?"

"Feels... odd..." Daerdion's brow was furrowed. He looked slightly pale though not precisely ill. "I... I honestly am not certain if things are right or not..." //How should it feel?// There was an ache, a strange pull that he couldn't quite put his finger on. "I..." He looked up to see Lindir kneeling on his other side, a soft smile on his lips.

Erestor felt absolutely terrible himself. Nothing was right, so it seemed. At first it had only been a nauseating flutter but soon had grown to something more painful and he realized the two souls that were now bonded with his were fighting about him.

"It is not done yet," the bard said quietly. Again the knife flashed across his skin. Lindir winced but made no sound as he caught the crimson drops and held the knife out to Daerdion.

He took the blade in hands not quite so steady as he might have liked and let the steel bite into his flesh. The blood tasted tangy and sweet on his tongue, and he offered the same to the bard a moment later.

"I-I am not-"

Before Daerdion could protest that he was not yet ready for the next step, he felt Lindir's mouth suckling him. At once the blood rushed south, and he groaned and fisted the sheets. "Ai..."

Erestor tried to bite back his pain and instead focused on the erotic display unfolding before his eyes, stroking himself to hardness //come-on, you silly organ - this is the one time it really counts.//

"Take him, Daer!" he whispered into the warrior's ear "Complete the bond. Take him now."

In the shadows Namo gave Manwe a triumphant look...

Daerdion finally drew Lindir away, smiling warmly at the bard. "That was what I needed indeed, young one."

Before he could even urge it, Lindir was positioning himself. The bard sank down in a series of slow, easy rocks that left them both groaning. Only when Lindir was fully seated did Daerdion realize the inconvenience of the position. "A moment," he whispered, rolling the pair of them so that Lindir was once more on his back. "We cannot deny 'Restor his fair part in this." Daerdion felt certain that it would kill the both of them if they did in any case.

Erestor tumbled behind Daer, preparing his husband only marginally with trembling fingers. He had to hurry, he cold feel the chill creep into his bones.

Nodding, Lindir gripped the warrior's forearms as if to brace himself. He could feel none of the phantom pain that afflicted his lovers, but the bard certainly sensed the urgency of the situation. "Now, 'Restor... now..."

"Hurry, Daer." Erestor took the ancient warrior with verve. "I can't keep this up too long... Aiya, Elbereth..." his thrusts were erratic at best.

Namo stepped forward, offering his hand "Come with me, childe. Be at peace, end all your pains and suffering and come with me."

It was a promising thought, really! Had Erestor not talked to Glorfindel quite a few times, he might have given in. But he knew that Namo's promise was only half the truth: yes, there would be no more pain, no more suffering. Only because there wouldn't be anything! He would not go now! Not at this moment where utter happiness was only a second away.

"NO!" he yelled and rammed into Daer's strong body.

"Ai!" Daer cried as the move not only brought Erestor's cock into rather jarring contact with his prostate but shoved him forcefully deep into Lindir's body. He felt the bard tense beneath him and managed to groan, "Now, 'Restor," before a slight shift in the pressure of one side or the other sent him hurtling over the edge into a climax that left him barely able to think.

Like the first time Erestor responded on a trained reflex. Though the climax was the most tiny, miserable one he'd ever had it was one and his soul made sure to stay connected to the others.

Beneath, Lindir was already shuddering by the time he felt the hot jet inside him. Overcome, he couldn't even find the words to express his pleasure and instead let out a soft, wailing moan while reaching back to touch Erestor as much as he could, fingers barely skating over his lover's arms.

The Counselor let himself ungracefully fall to one side, blindly reaching for Lindir's form. The pain was gone! With every passing moment he felt better and finally he laughed out his relief, looked at Lindir and caressed the bard's cheek. "My husband - our husband!"

Daerdion lay with his back against Erestor's chest, too drained to express his happiness with more than a smile and a soft kiss for each of his lovers. The warrior closed his eyes, breathing deeply and savoring the strength of the new bonds.

Manwe grabbed Namo by his sleeve and pulled him away from the elves. "It seems I won. Now release Ithilion!" and off they were back along the Straight Road to Valinor.

Lindir reached across Daer's body to tangle his fingers with Erestor's. The feeling of the tie between them was entirely new to him. Already though he felt a strength building, a will beyond his own that left him feeling more alive than he had in some time. "Thank you."

Erestor silenced Lindir with a finger across the young one's lips and quietly shook his head. No need to thank or they would end up in a spiral thanking each other on end. He soaked up the warmth that suddenly surrounded him again.

"I think somebody is going to walk funny and it will not be me." he grinned. The counselor felt too relieved to be serious at the moment.

"Aye, but it's well worth it," Lindir responded with a laugh. "I could think of many a thing worse." The bard noticed Daerdion's contemplative expression, his silence. "What is it? You... you do not regr-"

"Do not even think that," Daer responded a bit more sharply than he'd intended. Seeing the bard cringe, he drew Lindir close and kissed his lips softly.
